This walk takes you through the Hesse countryside and the pretty village of Haneffe, rich in rural heritage. You’ll walk through a varied environment characterized by numerous agricultural fields, and discover the new pathway giving a renaissance to the old streetcar, on foot.
In the 1850s, Europe’s densest secondary network (5,000 km) existed to link villages to major cities. It came to an end in the 1960s. This was line 460 A, which linked Hannut to Jemeppe.
