Chaussée Napoléon, 4500 Huy

Built by the Dutch in 1818, today the citadel has become a Second World War memorial site and remains a preserved site where the Nazi concentration camp system can be seen, with its cells, interrogation room, detention rooms and rudimentary washhouses.

The museum space gives the visitor an insight into the conditions for prisoners living in the citadel during the Second World War and on the daily life of the population during Occupation.
