My name is Steve Slock, I’m 35 years old. I’ve been in a relationship for 17 years, a 4-year-old boy named Nathan. I’m passionate about manual work, attracted by raw materials (wood, metal, glass). I’m a toolmaker in a metalworking factory and am self-employed to complement my passion for craftsmanship.
How did you come to realize this passion?
Since childhood, I’ve been tinkering with things with my father, hence my passion for manual work. I’d like to try my luck and maybe one day… I’ll be able to make a living from it and share it.
What does your art consist of?
I make my creations either from scratch, or I repurpose pieces I salvage or buy. I like to stay with raw materials for some and for others recover forgotten objects to give them a new life.
Where is your workshop located?
I don’t have a store at the moment, I work in the workshop at my home. But my workshop can be visited by appointment. I’m very active on instagram and facebook to get in touch don’t hesitate.
