Meeffe is at the crossroads of the provinces of Liège and Namur. Its geographical location has led to many invasions over the centuries, but the brave people of Meeffe have risen to the occasion each time, and their village has grown from it. At the end of the 19th century, a new development disrupted the daily life of the villagers: a small railway. The inhabitants took advantage of this new means of transport to increase the sale of their products, to go and work elsewhere, to bring in new goods more easily or to reach the big markets in the surrounding towns...

Here is a walk that will help you discover the great changes of the 19th and 20th centuries, through the village's history.
